My school is called Sunrise Public School. It is a beautiful school near my home. My school has many bright classrooms. The teachers are kind and helpful. There is a big playground where we play different games. I enjoy learning new things at school. I also love spending time with my friends. I am proud of my school.

2. My Best Friend

My best friend is Rohan. He is eight years old. He is kind, friendly, and cheerful. We study in the same class. We play football together during recess. He always helps me when I need help. We share our lunch and books. I am happy to have such a good friend.

3. My Favourite Animal

My favourite animal is the elephant. It is a large and strong animal. It has four legs, big ears, and a long trunk. Elephants eat grass, leaves, and fruits. They live in forests and other wild areas. They are intelligent and gentle animals. I like elephants because they are beautiful and interesting.

4. A Rainy Day

A rainy day is very pleasant. Dark clouds cover the sky and cool raindrops begin to fall. People carry umbrellas and wear raincoats. The roads become wet and small puddles form everywhere. The trees and plants look fresh and green. Sometimes we can see a beautiful rainbow after the rain. I enjoy watching the rain from my window.

Diwali is my favourite festival. It is known as the festival of lights. Before Diwali, my family cleans and decorates our house. We put up colourful lights and make beautiful rangoli. We wear new clothes and eat delicious sweets. I enjoy celebrating Diwali with my family. The festival fills our home with happiness.

Last Sunday, I went to the zoo with my family. We saw many different animals and birds. I saw a big lion resting in its enclosure. The elephant was eating grass with its long trunk. The monkeys were jumping from one branch to another. We also saw colourful birds. I enjoyed the visit very much and had a wonderful day.

Winter is my favourite season. The weather is cool and pleasant during winter. I wear warm clothes such as sweaters, caps, and jackets. I enjoy eating hot soup and other warm foods. I like sitting in the warm sunshine in the morning. I also enjoy playing outside with my friends. Winter is a lovely season.

Last Sunday, I went on a picnic with my family. We visited a beautiful park outside the city. We carried delicious food and drinks with us. After eating, we played games and walked around the park. I enjoyed looking at the trees, flowers, and birds. We laughed and had lots of fun together. It was a memorable day, and we returned home happily.

10. Save Trees

Trees are very important for us. They give us oxygen, fruits, wood, and shade. Many birds and animals live in trees. Trees also help to keep the air clean and the environment cool.
