Passage: The Helpful Tree

There was a big mango tree in Riya’s backyard. The tree gave sweet mangoes every summer. Birds also made their nests on its branches.

One day, Riya saw a small bird on the ground. The bird had fallen from its nest. Riya gently picked it up and placed it back in the nest on the tree.

The next morning, Riya sat under the mango tree to read her book. The birds were singing happily. Riya felt proud because she had helped the little bird.
